The design of the cabin was foremost focused on celebrating the lake and mountain view out the front door. This was done by using a 8x8’ sliding glass patio door, this is one of the most economical ways to get a large opening of glass on your build.
The second consideration was preserving maximum privacy between the cabin and main house. This was done by having one side of the cabin solid wall without any windows. Your needs might different or orientation for layout might need to be different and it would be easy to make those changes on the fly.
This layout features enough space for a 32x48” shower and toilet. The kitchen sink provides double duty for any tap water needs for the space.
