I spent $6800 on the engineered hardwood flooring + ~$500 on the accessories to install them. I was able to go with nicer flooring because I decided to install them myself. If you were to pay a pro I would expect to pay between $3-4/sq ft + materials.
Installing the floors yourself isn’t easy but it is entirely manageable. In total I had 6 full days invested in laying the flooring and transitions/trim.
